Ruined our kids Xmas absolutely terrible customer service and products
Purchases 2 x airpods for our kids Xmas gifts. Delivery on time but fake products. The products don't even do what they are supposed to do other than listen to music/videos.
Tried emails several times and the customer service link and not received any response.
2 very disappointed kids with fuming parents.

Recent reviewers might have got the wrong firm
I think the reviews below (the ones this year) might be reviewing the wrong company; their experiences are pretty much exactly the same as those customers of mobilephone4u and the phones4u url for this firm doesn't go anywhere. Perhaps Trustpilot need to go back to these reviewers to check.

I’ve been ripped off by this company!
On 11/12/2021 I bought a used iPhone 7Plus. It was meant to be matte black, they sent a white one. Within 10 days the microphone stopped working, I could barely hear peoples voices when they called me and they only heard garbled noises from me. I had this verified by an authorised repair shop-they said the phone was useless. I want a refund and have sent daily emails and no one has responded. This company is absolutely the worst. Stay away from them!

This is scam
This is scam! Be aware. Advertised as Apple Air Pods and what you receive is a cheap crap Yesido!! So frustrating! I've asked for a refund straight away but still didn't hear back. I'm definitely taking it further if not solved immediately. Avoid at all cost

Watch out!
Been scammed and I will be following this through as my daughters birthday is now ruined as her main present is not what it’s meant to be, I ordered refurbished apple airpod pros, instead I received yesido EarPods. I looked the EarPods up they are nothing to do with apple and are £22 to purchase online. I emailed and was told it was just packaging used by the company that refurbished the EarPods, this is rubbish! They have one chance to refund me immediately so I can get out before Wednesday and get my daughter real apple AirPods or I will be taking this further. It’s a complete scam! To make it worse my daughter is autistic and has only asked for these EarPods, I am not in a position to just pop out and grab another pair while I wait for a refund, thanks phones 4 u, I am fumming.!

Stay away scam artists!
I supposably ordered refurbished “AirPod pros” for £78 but what I actually got were a cheap knock off brand called yesido earbuds pro which are only worth £30. Wanted a refund but they don’t even offer that instead I have to get a replacement and even then I doubt I will actually get what I ordered! Absolute scam artists stay away!

Do NOT use this company.
I went in with a broken phone and clearly asked them if it was worth repairing as other things could also be broken. The manager said he thought it would be the screen or lcd and wrote this down. I again asked if they would check and make sure everything else was working properly as the phone had a bad bang and I would not want to pay for a new lcd if other things were wrong. I repeated this as the Manager didn’t write anything else was wrong. He said they would check this anyway. It was sent to the LAB and came back with a new screen and lcd. I took it home after paying £65. To cut a long story short the manager argued that I didn't specifically ask him to check the camera and now I have paid the money for a phone that doesn't work as the camera isn't working. Considering what I said to him about my not wanting any work done he made the wrong diagnosis and ignored what I asked him. This work should not have been done and he should have not misled me about them checking for things he hadn’t written down.

Phone care promises
Me and my partner took out phones 4 u care on our phones after the sales man reassured us that we would get a guaranteed £100 cash trade in for each handset.I understand that they have gone into administration but they failed to contact me about these changes.I have contacted them as my partners contract has now ended and was unsure what to do. The customer service guy told me that although we've been paying the amount for the last two years we are not able to get the trade in as they are not in administration and said that the information was on the website. After ending the conversation very mad at not being able to get what was promised when takin out the cover the man decided to send me an email explaining the changes to the cover that affected us.I found this very cheeky and aggravated me further as this should have been sent last year so I could have made my mind up last year without paying a further £120 for another years cover for the two policy. Very underhanded and unfair!!!

Phones 4 u ....... Bully's, thieves and con artists
I went into a phones for u shop back in February to get a pay as you go phone for my son so he could keep in touch in emergencies when he was away with the school, I told the staff that all I wanted was the cheapest handset no games no anything after bullying me for half an hour and being on my own with 2 small children they managed to get me to do an early upgrade on my current phone which had cosmetic damage but that was all, they upgraded me to a Nokia lumia 1020 from the lumia 920 I told them I wanted the yellow one again they told me "oh no you want the black it's much better" I told them again I want the yellow....... I now have the black because the psychic people in the store told me that's what I wanted.
But it gets worse... They told me that the price of the contract seemed high almost £50 for not a lot only 2g of data and I think 300 mins but apparently that is just the introductory price and once I'd been in the contract for 3 months I should ring ee and they will put me on a price plan to suit my usage and should be half that cost
Turns out that's total bullsh.t he said 3 months because he knew I couldn't walk away at that point I have been lied to and I believe this is actually fraud. After speaking to ee countless times to try and do something explaining the whole storey over and over they gave me the number for phones 4 u customer services guess what no one answers I want phones for u to take responsibility for their staff bullying and conning people it's disgraceful how you can do this to the people your supposed to be "serving" I want something done about this because ee have stated they cannot do anything because it's phones for u's contract I still have over a year left paying double for my services

say a load of bull
I sent my phone away 9 weeks ago to get fixed. phones 4 u said i would receive a phone call within 2-3 weeks. no call back so i contacted them, they then say i need to pay £44 and it will be fixed in 5 working days. 2 weeks later still no phone and no contact. on the phone again, they then say it still getting fixed and for me phone over the weekend. Lie they don't open on a weekend. Another phone call, can you tell me whats going on with my phone, its just about to be sent to sony to get fixed. WTF. paid about 6 weeks ago and you been telling me its getting sorted. Wasting £34 a month on a contract and £44 on a repair fee and don't forget all the phone calls. No wonder they shut down

Misleading and unhelpful
I recently bought an iPhone 5s "sim free" which I've learned unfortunately is not the case. I was assured that any sim would work and that I can just swap my UK sim for my irish sim as I wished as I travel to and from Ireland and the UK quite often. In between this, I switched my UK provider to 3. Low and behold I can't use my 3 sim in my iPhone because it's locked to Vodafone.

Being sent back and forth from Vodafone to 3 and with an unhelpful bit of advice from a customer service representative, I was forced to pay to have my phone unlocked. Phones 4 u should specifically state to customers that "sim free" technically has an activation lock. £600 wasted on a phone I couldn't use for 3 weeks. Not 3's fault, not vodafone' fault, but p4u's fault. I feel like I've been put out of place and shouldn't have had to pay to have my phone unlocked when I bought it "sim free".

I'm glad they've gone into administration, at least this thing won't happen with p4u and other customers.
